Nearly 5000 High School Students Take Exam in Banteay Meanchey

Banteay Meanchey: Banteay Meanchey Governor Oum Reatreay has announced that they have recorded 4,947 students taking the High School examination on Monday morning. These students are taking the tests in seven examination centres. Governor Reatrey has opened the high school examination at O'Ambel High School.

Director of the Provincial Department of Education, Youth and Sports Chhou Bunroeung says the seven examination centres in the province are in Serey Sophorn High School, Samdech Ov High School, Hun Primary School Sen Sophy, UME University, Hun Sen Khla Kon High School, O’Ambel High School and Meanchey University. He has added that there are 199 examination rooms.

The 2021 High School Diploma Examination lasts for two days from 27 to 28 December. At the same time, Banteay Meanchey Provincial Administration as well as Serei Sophorn Municipality Administration before the exam day also issued a notice to all business owners in Serei Sophorn Municipality to suspend the operation for three days from 26 to 28 December 2021 to protect the order on the streets and examination centers.

The notice has also emphasized that business owners of hotels and guesthouses and restaurants and canteens should not raise prices or examine the possibility of discounts as much as possible to facilitate the exams of underprivileged students.
